Iowa Finance Authority gives grant for homeownership education
The Iowa Finance Authority (IFA) announced yesterday that it has approved a $44,000 grant to the Iowa Home Ownership Education Project (IHOEP). IHOEP will use the funds to support its grant program for nonprofit agencies, which is expected to provide more than 540 Iowans with homeownership education. IHOEP accepts grant applications twice a year and awards each successful applicant up to $5,000. The IFA funding is made available through the State Housing Trust Fund’s Project-Based program.
