72 wordsAll Latest News, Economic DevelopmentThe Iowa Finance Authority and Iowa Economic Development Authority announced Council Bluffs, Des Moines, Fort Dodge, Mason City, Newton and Waterloo have received 2025 Iowa Thriving Communities designations, which highlight the efforts of Iowa communities to create housing opportunities for their citizens. In addition to the recognition, the designation comes with scoring points for the federal Low-Income Housing Tax Credit and Workforce Housing Tax Credit programs, effective through 2025 for each community.
