Iowa Health System makes InformationWeek 500 list
Iowa Health System announced yesterday that it made this year’s InformationWeek 500. This is Iowa Health System’s first appearance on the list, which measures the nation’s most innovative users of business technology. The company recently implemented a new Picture Archiving and Communication System, which digitally stores, retrieves and presents medical images. “Innovative use of information technology is the key component to providing better care,” said Iowa Health System President and CEO Bill Leaver in a press release.
