The Kinseth siblings — Leslie, Bruce and Gary Kinseth and Linda Skinner — of Kinseth Hospitality Cos., have been named the 2024 Hoteliers of the Year by the Iowa Hotel & Lodging Association. During the association’s recent annual awards luncheon, the siblings were recognized for their leadership, resilience and contributions to the hospitality industry. The Coralville-based company was founded in 1966 with one hotel. The group now operates over 125 hotels in Iowa and 15 other states. The award “recognizes those who demonstrate exceptional leadership in the lodging industry, from delivering outstanding guest experiences to showcasing business acumen and innovation,” Jessica Dunker, the group’s president and CEO, said in a prepared statement. “The Kinseth family embodies all of these qualities and more. Over the decades, their hard work, family collaboration, and willingness to innovate have not only grown Kinseth Hospitality Cos. … but they’ve also shaped and strengthened the entire industry.”
