Iowa Safe Schools name keynote for Employee Resource Group Conference

Iowa Safe Schools has announced Michael Bach as the keynote of the second annual “Aspire to Inspire” employee resource group (ERG) conference, scheduled for Friday at Drake University. Bach is an author, speaker and the founder of the Canadian Centre for Diversity and Inclusion and Pride at Work Canada. Bach has worked professionally in inclusion, diversity, equity and accessibility for nearly 20 years, most recently as the founding CEO of CCDI and CCDI Consulting. Before this role, he was the national leader for diversity, equity and inclusion for KPMG and served as the deputy chief diversity officer for KPMG International. “Michael Bach’s expertise in diversity, equity, and inclusion will provide an essential foundation for conference attendees,” Becky Tayler, executive director of Iowa Safe Schools, said in a prepared statement. “Our organization remains committed to empowering employee resource groups (ERGs) to foster a positive workplace climate that is truly reflective of the diversity in our communities.
