Quad-City Times: Bettendorf Business Network will host speaker Jayne Armstrong, Iowa district director of the U.S. Small Business Administration at noon Tuesday at Hilton Garden Inn, 959 Middle Road. In her position, Armstrong oversees SBA’s financial, business counseling, government contracting programs and other services throughout the state. Armstrong has served on the boards of a wide variety of nonprofits and business organizations throughout her career, with a strong focus on the empowerment of women and girls, college recruiting, student mentoring, economic literacy and homeless issues. This event is open to all interested individuals in the greater Bettendorf area.
