Iowa Smart Planning Task Force to hold meetings
The Iowa Smart Planning Task Force will hold a series of public meetings to get feedback on draft recommendations to support smart planning in Iowa.
The task force was created during this year’s legislative session to find ways to improve community resiliency following the floods of 2008.
The meetings are designed to let attendees discuss options and provide ideas for changing or adding to the recommendations.
The task force will have a webinar from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. To register, go to http://www.rio.iowa.gov/smart_planning/meetings.html.
