Iowa STEM accepting nominations for 2025 Teacher Award

110 wordsAll Latest News, Education, Government Policy and LawThe Governor’s STEM Advisory Council at the Iowa Department of Education is now accepting nominations for the 2025 Iowa STEM Teacher Award Program. Administrators, teachers, counselors, parents, students and community members can nominate an inspirational science, technology, engineering or mathematics teacher to be honored, a news release said. One teacher from each of the state’s six STEM regions will receive the award. To be eligible, teachers must work full time, be licensed and teach STEM between pre-K and 12th grade. This is the 11th year STEM teachers have been honored with this award. The deadline to submit a nomination is Nov. 15, and more information can be found online.
