Iowa Supreme Court approves grants for nonprofit programs

79 wordsAll Latest News, Arts and Culture, Government Policy and LawThe Iowa Supreme Court has approved $241,373 in grants to nonprofit programs that provide legal assistance to low-income Iowans with civil legal problems, the court announced. The grants were awarded to 11 Iowa organizations. The grants are funded by the Interest on Lawyers’ Trust Account program that began in 1985.
