Iowa State University President Steven Leath has appointed a committee to conduct the search for ISU’s next provost, following the announcement that Elizabeth Hoffman plans to step down by the end of the year, or earlier if a new provost is found or she accepts another position. She has been provost since 2006. The committee will be led by Wendy Wintersteen, endowed dean of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. Committee members, all from ISU, are Sanjeev Agarwal, Daniel Burden, Ann Marie Fiore, Nancy Franz, Steven Freeman, David Gregory, Tahira Hira, Dakota Hoben, Alexander King, Cory Kleinheksel, Kenneth Koehler, Ingrid Lilligren, Catherine Logue, James Oliver, Elisa Rizo and Steven Rodermel.
