ISU VP Gregory resigns
Kate Gregory, Iowa State University’s senior vice president for university services, will leave the university Nov. 22. Gregory, a retired U.S. Navy rear admiral, joined the university in July 2016 in a restructuring that followed the retirement of longtime senior vice president Warren Madden. She supervised operations of business services, environmental health and safety, facilities planning and management, public safety, Reiman Gardens, University Museums, and the WOI Radio Group. “As a result of recent changes in my family situation, I decided that now is a good time to focus on other priorities,”Gregory told the Cedar Rapids Gazette via email. ISU expects to name an interim vice president later this month.
