Jacobson adds more operations in Pacific Northwest
Jacobson Cos. will operate PepsiCo Inc.’s new 450,000-square-foot distribution center in Tacoma, Wash. With the contract, the Des Moines-based company operates five distribution centers and 2.5 million square feet nationally for PepsiCo, Jacobsen said in a news release. The Tacoma operation opens today, with first customer shipments scheduled for Oct. 31. Jacobson said the Tacoma location will be the fourth distribution center that it operates in the Pacific Northwest.
