Smith, who’s been vice president of lending for Affinity Credit Union since October 2021, has over 10 years of experience in the credit union industry, with a focus in regulatory compliance and risk. In addition to leading lending efforts, Smith oversaw collection and retail branch operations within the credit union. Before joining Affinity Credit Union, Smith served in various roles including director of client partnerships, compliance manager and compliance officer at ViClarity, formerly PolicyWorks LLC. Dean has served more than five years as Affinity’s CEO. Before joining the credit union in August 2018, he was the CEO of Oak Trust Credit Union for over 26 years.
