Joseph Jones receives ABI Foundation’s Leadership for Iowa Award

162 wordsAll Latest News, Nonprofits and Philanthropy, Retail and BusinessThe Iowa Association of Business and Industry Foundation named Joseph Jones, chief of staff to the president at Des Moines University, as this year’s recipient of the Leadership for Iowa Award. The award is presented annually to a distinguished alumnus of the Leadership Iowa program who exemplifies outstanding leadership on both a community and statewide level. Jones is a graduate of Leadership Iowa’s 2006-07 class and will be recognized on Thursday at ABI’s Taking Care of Business Conference in Davenport. Jones has previously served in leadership roles at the Harking Institute for Public Policy & Citizen Engagement and Greater Des Moines Partnership. Jones is a member of the Business Record’s 2009 Forty Under 40 class and has been recognized as the Forty Under 40 Alum of the Year and voted the most influential honoree in his class.
