Junior Achievement receives endowment gift
Junior Achievement of Central Iowa will establish a $50,000 endowment to be held and administered by the Community Foundation of Greater Des Moines.
The endowment was created with a gift from Richard Jacobson, chairman of the board of Jacobson Transportation Co.
“Endowments are a vital tool for organizations to establish and move forward with their mission in the future, and Junior Achievement provides a service in this community that could not be more important with the current economic situation,” said Community Foundation President J. Barry Griswell.
