Katie Stien, national sales manager at the Greater Des Moines Convention and Visitors Bureau and Des Moines Area Sports Commission, has been named volunteer president of the Iowa Group Travel Association board of directors. The association is the only statewide organization in Iowa dedicated to motorcoach travel. Stien has been with the convention and vsitors bureau for five years and has served on boards for the Iowa FFA Foundation and the National Agri-Marketing Association, and has been named a Destination Marketing Association International 30 Under 30 in 2011.
