The Greater Des Moines Partnership says it has a keynote speaker and topic for the inaugural Greater Des Moines Regional Summit it is planning this fall. Kat Saunders, partner and head of strategy and leadership for Economic Leadership LLC, will speak at the Oct. 3 summit at the Iowa State Fairgrounds’ Varied Industries Building in Des Moines, a news release said. Saunders is expected to focus on “future economic trends and innovative strategies needed to drive sustainable growth and resilience” in the region. Saunders’ “deep knowledge in leadership and economic strategy, along with her forward-looking perspective, will be invaluable as we work together towards tangible steps to build upon our regional momentum and growth,” said Tiffany Tauscheck, president and CEO of the Greater Des Moines Partnership, in a prepared statement.
