Kirkwood Community College to host 2020 Iowa Rural Summit

71 wordsAll Latest News, Business Community Events, Economic DevelopmentThe Hotel at Kirkwood Center at Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids will host the fourth annual Iowa Rural Summit in 2020, the Iowa Rural Development Council announced this week. The summit is sponsored by the IRDC. The IRDC is a public-private state nonprofit supporting small towns addressing issues such as housing, broadband access, business development and leadership. Last year’s rural Iowa Summit was held in Grinnell and hosted 380 individuals.
