Kress named vice president for extension at Iowa State
Cathann Kress, who serves as a senior policy analyst and program lead for Military Community and Family Policy at the U.S. Department of Defense in Washington, D.C., will become Iowa State University’s next vice president for extension and outreach, the university announced yesterday.
Kress will begin on July 1. In her role, Kress will serve as director of ISU Extension, designed to help connect Iowans with Iowa State resources. Kress, a Sharon Center native, will succeed Jack Payne, who accepted a position at the University of Florida last May.
