Amy Kristof-Brown, who has been serving as interim dean since March, will move into the position permanently, pending approval by the Iowa Board of Regents, the university announced this week. Kristof-Brown joined the Tippie faculty in 1997. “Dr. Kristof-Brown has provided excellent leadership as interim dean, and I know she will continue to move the college forward as its permanent leader,” said Kevin Kregel, interim executive vice president and provost. “She brings to the position a wealth of experience in numerous roles within the college. She also brings a passionate commitment to supporting the success of the college’s students, faculty, and staff.” Kristof-Brown said she has been inspired by the work of her colleagues during the challenging times of the past year, and is humbled to serve as the next dean of the Tippie College of Business. “I am excited to continue to develop our research reputation, build meaningful learning experiences for students, and engage deeply with our corporate and non-profit partners.”
