Lead DSM is now accepting applications for the Youth Leadership Initiative Class of 2024. Current high school freshmen, sophomores and juniors are encouraged to apply for this tuition-free program, which provides leadership and experiential learning opportunities to enhance self-confidence and community involvement. Participants will meet twice monthly from August to May, and the program seeks students who are eager to learn about their community, build professional skills, explore their leadership potential, and form connections with peers and mentors. Applications will be accepted until April 17, and interested individuals can attend a virtual Youth Leadership Initiative informational event on Thursday, March 9, from 6 to 7 p.m. to learn more. Those planning to attend must register at Lead DSM to receive the virtual link. Adult recommendations for students will also be accepted until April 10.
