Leadership for Metro Women Connect announced
Iowa Women Lead Change has announced the group of women who will lead the organization’s Metro Women Connect, a group dedicated to professional and leadership development for Central Iowa women.
Leading the executive committee of the group’s board of directors are:
- Chair: Suzanne Heckenlaible, vice president of public affairs, Delta Dental.
- Vice Chair: Beth Raymond, senior vice president, human resources, Principal FInancial Group Inc.
- Secretary: Christy Smith, senior vice president, chief human resources officer, Aureon.
- Treasurer: Natalie Merrill, vice president, chief of staff, Renewable Energy Group Inc.
Metro Women Connect is a membership organization composed of senior leadership of more than 15 Des Moines-area companies. It provides sharing of best practices and development opportunities for member companies on a quarterly basis.
The formation of the Women Connect model in eastern Iowa predated the launch of the Central Iowa group by six years.
