Leeds West Groups, a Greenwood Village, Colo.-based firm that acquires, owns and manages national automotive repair franchise brands, has acquired Big O Tires locations in Altoona, Ankeny and Urbandale. Leeds West Groups purchased the locations from Willis Automotive, located in Clive. “Acquisitions are always our number one strategy for growth and we are excited about entering a new market with these Big O Tires locations,” Derek Wessels, chief operating officer and president of automotive for Leeds West Groups, said in a prepared statement. The locations acquired by Leeds West Groups, the largest owner of Big O Tires in the U.S., include 670 36th Ave. S.W. in Altoona, 2605 S.E. Delaware Ave. in Ankeny and 3880 N.W. Urbandale Drive in Urbandale. Leeds West Groups also owns and operates 13 Midas locations in Iowa.
