We sat down with business leaders to learn what issues they are focusing on with the Legislature convenes on Jan. 9. We focused on what key issues business leaders are looking for lawmakers to address. We discussed the state’s ongoing workforce shortage and the ongoing child care challenge. We also discussed efforts to improve access to mental health services and housing, and following up on last year’s tax reform package, and efforts to reform the state’s property tax system. Also discussed were the role social issues could play in the Legislature and how that could affect the state’s business climate.
