Libby Jacobs to lead Taxpayers Association board

Former Iowa state legislator Libby Jacobs has been elected as chair of the Taxpayers Association of Central Iowa’s board of directors. The association was founded in 1921 as the Polk-Des Moines Taxpayers Association. The group’s mission is to promote effective and efficient public sector organizations by promoting data-driven discussions and open and civil discussions. Others on the group’s executive committee are Michele Wilkie, Carmine Boal, Rich Pullen, Marc Ward, Ron Herman, Jim Sarcone and Art Wittmack.
