LightEdge renews 10 compliance certifications, adds 3

Cloud, data center and managed services compliance is a critical need for customers operating in highly regulated industries such as health care, finance and government, a news release said. The three new certifications LightEdge now holds are Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS), International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and ISO 27701, an international standard for privacy information management, which is important for companies that need to adhere to strict privacy requirements. CJIS and ITAR support customers working within the government sector, including the Department of Defense, FBI and other law enforcement agencies, the release said. The certifications apply across all 11 tier-3 data center facilities in LightEdge’s nationwide network and managed services. Among LightEdge’s renewed certifications are HIPPA, HITRUST and NIST.
