Linn County rings in year with fewer supervisors

An election in November sent two incumbents packing in what amounted to musical chairs with five incumbents circling three remaining seats up for grabs. Voters were concerned at the pay level, $104,000 per supervisor. By comparison, the five members of the Polk County Board of Supervisors make $115,000.
