Lockton Cos., the world’s largest independent insurance brokerage firm, opened a new office in Des Moines to increase its presence and accommodate its growing team, the organization said in a release. The office is part of Lockton’s Founders Series region, which is based in Kansas City and has offices in Iowa, Michigan, Minneapolis and Nebraska. The new office is located in the Newport Building on Mills Civic Parkway. Lockton serves businesses across multiple industries in Iowa and worldwide with employee benefits, property, general liability, workers’ compensation, business interruption, cybersecurity, directors’ and officers’ liability and more. Rob Sprague, president of the Founders Series People Solutions team, said: “We are very excited at the opportunity the Iowa business community represents for Lockton.
