The program, which is part of LSI’s Immigrant and Refugee Community Services, supports former refugee farmers by reconnecting them with farmland as they build their new life in the U.S. The CSA boxes will be filled with vegetables grown by Global Greens farmers, using traditional growing methods. Customers can choose between pickup and delivery options, with boxes available from May through late October. Prices range from $132 to $531, depending on the size of the box and frequency of delivery. Pickup locations are available in Des Moines, West Des Moines and Ankeny.
