LWBJ Financial LLC announced the election of Paul Juffer as managing partner. Juffer, a senior partner and one of the firm’s founders, replaces Marv Debner, who left the firm to take a position with BKD LLP, a national accounting firm based in Springfield, Mo. The national firm had expressed an interest in purchasing LWBJ, which led to Debner’s decision to join the larger firm, said JD Geneser, an LWBJ senior partner. Debner, who joined LWBJ as a senior partner in 2007, was named managing partner in July 2010. “It was a very amicable parting of ways,” Geneser said. “We’re extremely excited about the election of Paul and very bullish about the future.”
