A panel of independent judges chose the finalists based on their demonstration of long-term value through entrepreneurial spirit, purpose, growth and impact. Mac Nab was the only Iowa entrepreneur named as a regional finalist for the Heartland program, which includes Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota and South Dakota. His selection was based on his dedication to support entrepreneurs through specially designed payments technology solutions and impact on Iowa’s small businesses. Regional award winners will be announced on June 9 at The Fillmore Minneapolis. A list of the Heartland finalists can be viewed at this link. The winners will then be considered by national judges for the Entrepreneur of the Year National Awards, which will be presented in November at the annual Strategic Growth Forum. That winner will move on to compete for the EY World Entrepreneur of the Year Award in June 2023. A Business Record article about VizyPay can be found at this link.
