Magazine names DMACC 15th-fastest-growing two-year college
Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) jumped to No.15 on Community College Week’s list of fastest-growing two-year colleges in America. The survey focused on fall 2010 enrollment compared with the fall of 2009. In the latest Community College Week survey, DMACC had 24,658 students in the fall of 2010, an 11 percent increase from a year earlier. Two years ago, DMACC was tied for 17th place among the fastest-growing two-year colleges in the country. The report analyzed enrollment figures from more than 7,000 U.S. colleges and universities.
