Broadlawns Medical Center announced that its spring class of Training and Education for a Career in Healthcare (TECH) participants have earned their basic and advanced Certified Nursing Assistant degrees and have graduated from the TECH program. With the latest class of three, 36 Des Moines residents who have faced employment barriers have undergone training for health care positions since TECH and its companion program, TEACH (Training and Education for Adults for a Career in Healthcare), began in the fall of 2016. “We are extremely proud to employ 25 of our TECH and TEACH graduates here at Broadlawns, and we look forward to seeing how their careers in health care continue to grow,” Broadlawns President and CEO Jody Jenner said.
