Manufacturers gather in Ames for ABI Taking Care of Business Conference
The Iowa Association of Business and Industry’s annual Taking Care of Business conference is in full swing today in Ames.
This morning attendees will hear a keynote presentation by Peggy Noonan, a Pulitzer Prize-winning columnist for the Wall Street Journal and a best-selling author who has written nine books on American politics, history and culture. Gov. Kim Reynolds and Lt. Gov. Adam Gregg will also speak today at the conference at Hilton Coliseum and the Scheman Building.
In addition to a number of workshops ranging from tax reform to employee financial wellness and building sustainable workforces, attendees from across the state also had the opportunity to tour Ames-area manufacturers such as Danfoss and Kreg Tool and the ISU Research Park.
