MODUS has received the ASHRAE National Technology Award for the Market One development in Des Moines. The award identifies engineering excellence for the restoration of an existing commercial building and is highly regarded throughout the industry, according to a release. The Market One project was the adaptive reuse of the Advance Rumley building into 40,668 square feet of commercial space. The project served as a cornerstone of the city’s efforts to renovate the Market District of the East Village. Market One was a partnership of MODUS and real estate developer Blackbird Investments.
