Members of the Iowa chapter of the American Marketing Association and the Social Media Club of Des Moines plan to meet at Mickey’s Irish Pub in Clive on Jan. 13 from 5:30 to 9 p.m.. Beyond networking and the chance to win prizes, the meet-up is offering area professionals the opportunity to support a local charity. Organizers are asking attendees to bring non-perishable food items or cash donations for MovetheFood, the emergency food pantry network operated by the Des Moines Area Religious Council (DMARC). The event is open to anyone interested in connecting with marketing and social media professionals.
