McKee, Voorhees & Sease PLC will host a one-day interactive course on the business basics of intellectual property on Sept. 12 at its Des Moines office. The course, offered by the Iowa Chapter of the Licensed Executive Society, will be presented by Matthew McNeill, chief innovation officer and vice president of Rite-Hite Holding Corp., and Jill Link, a partner with McKee, Voorhees & Sease. The interactive course is built around real-world examples and small, hands-on group exercises and is designed to provide the basics to understand and participate effectively in the process of protecting IP and facilitating its commercialization.
