A “wall crawl” along Ingersoll Avenue is set for Aug. 22 to mark the launch of The Avenues neighborhood that follows Ingersoll and Grand avenues. The wall will feature pop-up and permanent murals along Ingersoll. The event is open-house style, free and begins at Moberg Gallery, 2921 Ingersoll. Click here for more information. The Avenues renaming is the latest step in a decades-long effort to advance the district as a premiere destination with proximity to downtown, but a vibrancy all its own, according to a release.
