Lung cancer patients in Central Iowa now have access to a multidisciplinary clinic allowing them to receive comprehensive treatment and support faster and more conveniently. The Mercy Lung Cancer Clinic opened to patients on Tuesday at Mercy Medical Plaza, adjacent to Mercy Medical Center-Des Moines. The new clinic will offer a multidisciplinary approach to the evaluation and management of lung masses and lung cancer. The clinic is designed for treatment of patients who have previously received a lung cancer diagnosis. Patients will need a referral from their primary care provider.
