Meredith reports fourth-quarter loss
Meredith Corp. on Thursday reported a fiscal fourth-quarter loss of $90.5 million,the Associated Press reported. The Des Moines-based media and marketing company reported a profit in the same period the year before. Meredith said it had a loss of $2.03 per share. Earnings, adjusted for nonrecurring costs, were $1.08 per share. The company posted revenue of $435.8 million in the period. For the year, the company reported profit of $33.9 million, or 75 cents per share. Revenue was $1.65 billion. Shares have risen 11 percent in the last 12 months. Read Meredith’s news release.
