Merit Management Group, a private equity firm specializing in the construction, HVAC and home-improvement industries, has announced Tim Carson as chief financial officer. Carson will lead Merit’s financial operations and drive the firm’s strategy and acquisitions plans. Carson has more than 30 years of experience in the industry and previously served as CFO at Mail Communications Group in Des Moines. He is a certified public accountant and received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Iowa State University. “Tim’s career experience and expertise will bolster the strategic plan for our company and strengthen our processes as we evaluate and acquire businesses,” Mike Heilman, Merit managing partner, said in a prepared statement.
