Meyocks, a branding and marketing agency in West Des Moines, announced that Kelly Ferguson, a member of the firm’s executive team, will acquire a majority interest in the company and become its president, effective Jan. 1, 2024.

With the transition, Rachel Allinson, also a member of the executive team, will acquire a minority interest in the agency, while Meyocks’ current owner and president, Doug Jeske, will retain a minority interest in the company.

Ferguson, Allinson and Jeske have comprised the Meyocks executive team since 2020. During that time, the agency has expanded its capabilities in digital media, content marketing, data science, research and public relations, according to a news release.

“Meyocks enjoys enviable, longstanding client relationships and an extraordinary team,” Ferguson said in a prepared statement. “We look forward to continuing to earn our clients’ confidence while we build on the agency’s growth trajectory.”

Ferguson worked at Meyocks from 1998 to 2002 after graduating from Northwest Missouri State University. He rejoined the agency in 2009 after earning a Master of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and after working as a strategic account manager for Agdata LP. Ferguson was recently elected president of the Americas region for the Advertising and Marketing Independent Network (AMIN) Worldwide, a global network of more than 50 independent marketing agencies, including Meyocks.

Allinson, graduated from Iowa State with a degree in graphic design and joined the agency in 1989.

Jeske, who purchased Meyocks in 2008, will step back from day-to-day responsibilities in mid-February and serve in a consulting role through 2024.
