Meyocks, based in West Des Moines, has been named as the marketing agency of record for the North American launch of POLY4, a new fertilizer product being produced by Anglo American, a United Kingdom-based global mining company. Meyocks will work with Anglo American and Archer Daniels Midland Co., the exclusive North American offtake partner for POLY4, to assess the market, support channel development, establish digital channels, and build overall awareness for the unique new fertilizer. Anglo American has developed a massive mining operation known as the Woodsmith Project on England’s eastern coast, from which polyhalite will be transported for processing into fertilizer in a plant on the coast and then shipped globally from a nearby deep-water port. Derived from a naturally occurring polyhalite mineral, POLY4 is a “multi-nutrient, low-chloride fertilizer that offers season-long crop nutrition by supplying four essential nutrients – potassium, sulphur, magnesium and calcium – in one product.” A short video about the Woodsmith Project can be viewed at this link.
