206 wordsAll Latest News, ManufacturingA St. Louis company has acquired Clear Lake-based Midwest Pipe Supply as it expands its drainage and waterworks reach into Iowa, according to a release published on Business Wire. Core & Main announced the acquisition on Monday. It specializes in infrastructure for water, wastewater, storm drainage and fire protection products and related services for cities, private water companies and contractors. It has 320 offices nationwide and employs about 4,500 people. Midwest Pipe Supply was founded in 2022 and is a distributor of drainage, septic and waterworks products for contractors, cities and agricultural customers. “Midwest Pipe Supply’s dedication to providing its customers with outstanding service and the depth of knowledge its team brings within their local market will make it a great addition to our existing business,” said Jack Schaller, president of Core & Main. Mark Paca, owner of Midwest Pipe Supply said the commitment and dedication to its customers and employees mirrors Midwest Pipe Supply. “We are thrilled to be able to work with the Core & Main team to share our expertise and expand our product offering and customer base,” Paca said. According to its website, the Clear Lake site will be its third in Iowa. It already has offices in Grimes and Cedar Rapids.
