Missouri company buys undeveloped land in Altoona

Equipmentshare.com Inc., located in Columbia, Mo., paid I-80 Business Park LLC slightly more than $1 million for undeveloped property at 1995 21st St. N.W. and 2439 20th Ave. N.W. in Altoona, Polk County real estate records show. The undeveloped lots are adjacent to each other in a light industrial area west of Hubbell Avenue. EquipmentShare was started in 2014 by brothers Jabbok and Willy Schlacks. The company rents and sells construction equipment to contractors; repairs and services the equipment; and offers digital support to the construction industry. In 2022, the company opened 32 branch locations, expanding its footprint to 150 locations, according to a news release. The Altoona transaction was recorded May 23.

Threshold Capital LLC, located in West Des Moines, paid the estate of Mildred Lucille Webb $2.1 million for property at 8630 N.E. 72nd St., north of Bondurant, records show. The 78-acre parcel includes farm ground, a single-family house built in 1900 and several agricultural-related buildings. The transaction was recorded May 22.
