The city of Norwalk, in conjunction with Sportsplex USA, Gregg Young Sports Campus, Sportsman Solutions and WB Realty Co., announced that a new Mullets restaurant will be built at Norwalk Central, with an anticipated opening in the summer of 2024. The restaurant will be located at the west end of the new SportsPlex USA building, east of the City State Bank Norwalk Fieldhouse. It will be the first occupant of the Sportsplex Norwalk retail building, located on the north end of the Gregg Young Sports Campus, and will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. The atmosphere will include a family-friendly arcade and garage doors that will open to a patio. John Royer, owner of Mullets, partnered with Reynolds and Sheila Cramer for the new location in Norwalk. “The city of Norwalk is incredibly excited to welcome this popular metro restaurant to our community,” Hollie Zajicek, economic development director for the city of Norwalk, said in a prepared statement. “It’s another fantastic and high-quality addition to the Norwalk Central development and will provide great options for residents and visitors to Norwalk year-round.”
