Clark Matthews, a multifamily specialist, has joined CBRE Inc.’s West Des Moines office. Matthews, who will partner with CBRE’s Cy Fox and Ray Hamilton, will focus on the acquisition and disposition of multifamily properties in Iowa.

Matthews has more than 10 years of experience in the commercial real estate sector. He has been involved in over 250 sale-leaseback, development, acquisition and disposition transactions totaling more than $500 million in aggregate value, according to a news release. Matthews most recently worked as director of Krause Group’s strategy execution office.

Matthews’ “exceptional track record and deep market knowledge in investment sales perfectly align with our growth strategy as we continue to strengthen our presence in all markets across Iowa,” Fox said in the release.

Matthews is a member of the Greater Des Moines Habitat for Humanity board. He is a graduate of Iowa State University.
