New renderings of the Ignit Sports and Fitness complex in Johnston were recently released by Emergent Architecture, the project’s architect. Construction of the $55 million project is underway on about 30 acres in the 5200 block of Merle Hay Road. The facility is expected to include more than 250,000 square feet of indoor space, including a competition-level track and courts for basketball, volleyball, pickleball and futsal. The top rendering is a bird’s-eye view of the complex. The middle rendering is of the plaza in the center of the complex. The bottom rendering shows the entrance to the main facility.
