State St., in Ankeny, just south of the District at Prairie Trail. Veridian will relocate and expand its operations from the branch currently located inside the Prairie Trail Hy-Vee grocery. The Hy-Vee branch will close when the new branch opens in spring of 2024.
“We have a long history of partnering with Hy-Vee for Veridian branch locations, and we’re grateful for that partnership,” Shelly McGill, Veridian’s Central Iowa regional manager, said in a prepared release. “Shifting this location to a traditional, stand-alone branch less than half a mile away will allow us to offer drive-up service and more interior space, which will provide an overall improved member experience.”
The new 3,422-square-foot Prairie Trail branch will include four drive-up lanes, including one for an ATM. Inside, it will include space for both business and consumer lending and a self-serve coin machine. All six Veridian employees who work at the current Prairie Trail Hy-Vee branch will transfer to the new location. Veridian is hiring additional employees for the branch.
