Newton Development Corp. has received $200,000 from the U.S. Department of Agriculture rural development programs to help small businesses in poor or underserved areas. The USDA provides the loans to local organizations that in turn set up a revolving fund. Other recipients were development groups in New Hampshire, Missouri, South Dakota and Mississippi.
